🍫 Project Overview

Developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) landing page and brand identity for Fudge & Fury.

🎯 The Challenge

Andrea has a great product (peanut butter fudge), but no branding, and lacked a digital presence. The goal was to build a fast, responsive, and legally compliant landing page to begin building a “Drop List” (customer email list) without the overhead of a full e-commerce engine.

Fudge And Fury Logo

🛠 Tech Stack & Tools

  • Languages: Semantic HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox & Grid)
  • Design: Custom SVG Iconography (Hand-coded for performance)
  • Version Control: Google Drive (Shared Editor Environment)
  • Documentation: Markdown (SOPs and Brand Guidelines)

🚀 Key Solutions Implemented

1. Brand Identity & Logic

  • The “Fury” Aesthetic: Chose a high-contrast palette of Fudge Black (#1a0f08) and Electric Blue (#00a8ff) to differentiate the brand from traditional, “soft” bakery styles.
  • Custom Iconography: Designed and coded custom SVGs (Spatula, Flame, Bolt) to ensure zero-latency loading and crisp scaling on all devices.

2. Strategic UX (User Experience)

  • Sticky Navigation: Implemented a persistent header to keep the “Join the Drop” call-to-action accessible at all times.
  • Story-Driven Content: Prioritized the “Heritage” of the Peanut Butter fudge to build emotional trust with the user before asking for contact information.

3. Operational SOPs (Systems Thinking)

  • Standardize Photography Guide: Create a photography SOP to ensure visual consistency across the site.
  • Product Naming Conventions: Establish a file metadata system to streamline the developer hand-off.
  • Legal Compliance: Integrated high-visibility allergy disclaimers to meet food safety transparency requirements.

📈 Outcome & Growth

The project is still in the hobby phase.
